MEET JIMMY
FOUNDER AND OWNER OF JIM’S QUICK DRAW
Jim has been an Oregon resident for about fifteen years. A native of Iowa, he joined the United States Army where he served for 26 years until he was medically retired due to injuries sustained in the line of duty. He served three tours to the Middle East. He has been stationed in many places in the United States in addition to Germany. His last duty station was in Vancouver, WA. He met his wife, Leslie and they married in 2015. Jim’s experience comes from sixteen years of experience in the Army as an armorer.
Jim has completed a course in Modern Gunsmithing. He is 100% disabled and was unable to continue going to a job so he chose to pursue his own business as a gunsmith. Jim believes wholeheartedly in the 2nd Amendment and supports all legislation that helps Americans retain their right to own firearms. He believes every citizen should have the right to carry a firearm and is here to help support that. He is a fair and honest man and will make every effort to provide exceptional service and to rectify any mistake that may occur to the satisfaction of every customer. Jim enjoys getting to know every customer and looks forward to building a long relationship with them.

Jim’s Quick Draw Firearms Services LLC is located within 1000 feet of a school zone. Due to this, we ask our customers to adhere to federal law (922 (q)(A)and transport their guns to our business in the following ways:
(1) not loaded; and
(2) in a locked container, or a locked firearms rack that is on a motor vehicle;
